Off topic :Lamborghini 50th Anniversary UK to Italy
Hi everyone!
Thought id share a special event that took place in italy to celebrate the 50 anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini....5 days of mad driving on mountain passes and 700 miles of planned roads for the lamborghini drivers!

Feed back appriciated as a few of us are looking to create a similar trip for G wagons to drive around europe in the alpine regions etc..

I am afraid I can not offer any constructive suggestions, it is an idea of course. Looks like an event for a weeks trip worth but would need filling in with other activities as well.
I think the French G-Wagen club frequently organise events in the Alps region. I will try to look up the events. From the past of trying to organise similar events very few people took up the offer, I believe club member Fredecosse tried to organise such events, it might be worthwhile getting feed back from him, I suggest a PM to him.
In your facebook link of photo titled "Our Lamborghini Balboni comes home ..." I think the only thing missing from the door of the Lamborghini is the Khanda (Sikh Symbol see link enclosed). Image sourced from Google web site.
When such an event comes up, every one wants to go untill reality kickes in and peoples realise cost/time involved !!! Usualy a fail ... then members complain not much is organised by the club !!!
Lovely idea, I did the Italian Alps on my Guzzi T3 many moons ago. Fabulous. Wouldn't fancy it in my G300, but in my SL...hm that could be an idea. If limited to G's I'd have to wait until I have one with a proper sized engine.

Well, there were 350 Lamborghini cars 700 people , and we had a great time. Cost is an issue but its the hotels that cost, we dont need 4/5 star hotels?
I think it would be a great trip if we can organise it, and we should try and have an annual gathering anyway!
The khanda was missing but hey...its orange enough for me!
I built this lambo from a new chassis upwards following a bad sideways accident last year, completed it in 6 weeeks for the event and it was absolutely perfect!
