No Anitifreeze 280ge Help Please

 Hi,

I have a Mercedes 280ge Auto and it hasn't been used for about  3 months and lastnight the tempratute dropped and this morning remembered theres no Antifreeze in it (as the rad has a slow leak so I always kept topping it up with water)

I opened up the radiator cap to find no water in the radiator. I topped it up with Anit freeze concerntrate and water (about a full kettle full) but am not sure wether to start it or not.

I have no warm garage to stick it into thaw it so is there anyway I can know if its frozen and then thaw it?

Hi Joe squeeze the bottom rad hose to see if its solid if not start up nd turn heater on to circulate the water system

 Hey!

Ok thanks alot I shall try the squezing the pipe but have no heater in the Merc (well installed a vauxhall one into the engine bay) would it just be a matter of leaving the car on tick over for a while if i can't do the heater trick?
