Looking for a G specialist to view a car in the UK (Milton Keynes)
Hi Guys
Firstly can I commend you for one of the best forums for the esteemed G!
This may appear to be a really odd request, I have found what I think is a gem, it's a Red GE 280, 1990, with 131 000 miles on the odo. But I am currently in South Africa, and have no way of looking at it.
Is there anyone in the Milton Keynes area that could check it out for me?
This will be my first G and I would hate to loose a seemingly great deal. Forgive me for not posting to much info on the vehicle, although a simple search would find it.
The seller has agreed to keep it until I arrive, but I'm sure anyone would advise that I get a thorough evaluation on the car, before committing.
Any one keen to help a future g owner out?

Welcome to the GWOA Sean, I will be frank. I am willing to inspect the vehicle for you and do a report on it, but it will cost you fuel money to and from Milton Keynes plus Lunch money. I live some 45 mins to an hour away from M/Keynes.

Have to admit - this never occured to me. If I saw a G and needed the help, I'd register with the forum and post a request for help the same way.
So why not give this the benefit of doubt and see how this turns out ? Sure some beer/pocket/lunch! money might be in order, but if there is someone round the corner from MK, this is no real bother, if you really like G's
The sting comes later, and I can tell that there are plenty on this forum to spot it!
Call me gullible? What about it G Unit? Is this the beginning of a beautiful story, or tragic drama?
