Just congratulating timing on this forum and in particular Rakesh and Fixwin for fantastic detailed advice (and any others so please don't take any offence if I've missed you!?!).
1. Like Audiominx have ignition problem in that won't turn off (however I am getting good at near-stationary stalling). Do have 'vacuum' in hoses when turning off so have been advised to replace the 'stop block solenoid' - £20.20 from Mercedes sheffield...
2. Leaking diff lock hoses fluid - perfect timing on 'bleeding diff locks' - thanks Bill for raising this...

Keep up the good work everyone!

As long as the advice is backed up with confirmation of diagonostics, thats fine; otherwise it would be awaste of your money.

Cheers,

Hopefully let you now soon! There is a 'vacuum' in the feeder hose when ignition terminated so would suggest not an air leak. For £20 still forms part of a good learning experience so either way will go down as teaching expenses. And of course resolve the issue?!?
