Was out taking a walk down to the shops last night  when I heard, then saw a Grey G Wagen, very nice, (bit dirty though), chrome bull bar, blacked out windows, think it was a 'y' reg, and he was not hanging around! Could have been a problem with a small GTi Golf that was trying to keep up? I was on a pedestrian bridge and saw them coming up and while the Golf braked for the roundabout and lights - the G Wagen took everything at speed - bit 'lean'ey' but just blew the Golf away. Hope they did not get caught on the bridge with the speed camera.

What a monster of a car!!! Hope the owner is here?

Fred,

Did you ever get a positive identification come forward for 'The Stig' you saw at St Margarets, Twickenham?

Hello Norfolk66,

Not sure how this part of the forum works? I am presuming that if one see's a G Wagen, one posts up here and then they would reply? Looking through there are a number of posts that have remained un answered so maybe they were not on the forum? Is there a prize for the member who gets the most hits?

Fred,

One would think that the content level and numbers of replies would be gauged on how interesting/informative the thread is rather than a prize for gets the most flags/or hits.

However, the GWOA could have an interesting Premier League table of members who had generated the highest level of interest.

Perhaps a fun idea for the future with a prize for the winners - even the top four qualifying for Champions League!

Points awarded or subtracted for :-

·         G Banter

·         Technical Content

·         Most Amusing Thread

·         Bad Spelling

I believe that your sighting of the G in Twickenham would have been a previous member SpiderIV who frequently burnt rubber seeing off young whipper snappers in his path who dared to stand up to a G Wagen J

Regards

Norfolk Tim

Ps. Any prize for threads of comedy and interest would have gone to SpiderIV – He was simply a ‘Champions League Legend’
