Hi All,

Just thought I'd share with you a 'little' trip we did this Christmas - down to Athens from the UK (3341km to be exact!). We stopped by in the north of Greece along the way for a few days. Stunning scenery: you wouldn't believe this is part of Europe - feels more like a mini Colorado. As well as a little white water rafting and hiking with the family, there are many Trails to drive too.....although the snow at altitude and mud below 1500m did make it heavy going. We found a local and he showed us around (although we had to be the lead vehicle - all diffs locked and a bit of welly JUST got us over one of the passes). Much better than any beach holiday!

1st pic: only one to make it up here
2nd pic: the way ahead (according to my expert young navigator)
3rd pic: lower down in the forests
4th pic: very fresh wolf tracks (actually saw one - highlight of the trip)
5th pic: in one of the valleys (where there are no roads: only dirt tracks)
6th pic: just had to take this one..........original colour is optional
7th pic: we were the ONLY ones to actually cross it! (Katara Pass: about 1700m)

Still dreaming about it,
Phileas

Re: Greece this Christmas

hi hus,

yes, its got a 40mm body lift and the longer springs (again +40mm). the spots above the bumper are hella dynaviews with standard 55W bulbs so they can come on with the highbeams.
