Fuel pump relay

can someone point out to me were the fuel pump relay is on my 1987 230ge swb g wagen, cant be found under steering colum or behing glove compartment, it has to be somewere.. any help would be very helpfull for tomw, thanks Andy

Hi Andy,
it's above the fuse panel to the right of the steering column. Take off the trim panel and lower down the fuse panel, it's hung on 2 hooks. The relay is above it.
Alternatively take off the blanking panel to the right of the steering column where it passes through the dash. You can then reach down to the relay.
