Hi Spider, that was me in St. Margarets. your sister seems like a nice lady- asked to take the pic.
I think my injectors are gone- car will now only start up with a shot of 'Bradex Easy Start'!
In any case, not the best evening...
could also be a leak in the injection system
It his actually a 2002 400cdi with a Brabus body kit and exhaust system- and of course badging :)
In all honesty, it hasn't been the easiest car to maintain over the years!
I took it to a garage this morning but unfortunately they were a little busy and i am off for two weeks tomorrow. After hearing the story, he suspected the injectors but won't know for sure until he gets a proper look.
Pr- i hope its just a leak- don't know much about these things but sounds a bit cheaper- lol
Sorry thought it was petrol, as thats how the symptoms could interpret for a petrol engine, I know nothing about the heavy stuff.
If he is still a member - try PM'ing Goochie, he had *cough* an AMG 400 V8 :)

Omar - sorry to hear about your problems. She called me and asked if it was someone I know (now I do!) Pray tell what do you have, is it a full Brabus (Body and Engine)? Any other night I would have been around and come to help.
