 Hi everyone
I'm trying to find a way to save the life of a v distressed 460 LWB, black, 1986 that makes me smile every time I take her out. She's been off the road for a few months now, lots of wheezing and urgently needs - apparently - a new flexible section in her breathing tubes and all new wheel bearings to get her back on the road safely. I've been waiting for the new site to launch (great job, well done!) before joining gwoa  and intended to sell her for parts but my 5 year old insists that she stays.  She's been a glorious companion for about 6 years and I really want to get her back to life so will welcome any advice.  Cheers. John.

Re: New member, old 460

Then u will know u have to have deep pockets. Just been stung again for the mot of my old 280 460 lwb1983 baby. I tend to have a good spend every year to get her right. Added new rear springs and shocks and new track rod ends to front very expensive for the 2500 miles I did last year. Still wish u all the best and the smiles are worth it.
