 Hello all
After yonks of waiting I've finally og tmy G. Its an 86 300GD. Needs a little tweaks to get her through MOT and some new parts to make her sit the way I want it.

First thing I'm going to acquire is a new glow plug heater relay module. Then the restoration shall begin. I'm in Norther Ireland and would to like to hear from any locals to see how their getting on with there G's. Since I study in Glasgow it'l be a longish restoration but I hope to have her finished for Christmas.

Would be great to hear from you all!

Best regards

Pete

Hi Pete, nice G, although it appears to have a farmers gate attached to the front of it. Are you planning some ram raiding ?

Bigblock, I couldn't agree more, it looks worse than a rats abortion. lol

Once she's through mot I'll be painting her black, updating the bumpers to the w463, clear side repeaters and getting some serious alloys on her.
From a few internet researches I found that apart from the MB alloys, Touareg, Q7 and Cayenne alloys also fit... Are there any others?

Your G looks like a beast!

Cheers Pete

 Hello Pete.
I am based in Dublin and looked at that car a year or so ago. I have pics if you want them (send me a pm with your email address).
I can help out with new and used parts if that is of any interest.
Closer to you is Peter Fixwin on this forum.
Regards.
Eddie.
