Appealing to forum members for a competent body shop around the Loughton Area, Essex.

A forum member wants to have welded on new spring caps and mounts.

Any one with first hand experience of body shops and suggest recommendations would be very welcome.

If you have had similar work done, please state what the job cost in your experience.

Re: Competent bodyshops

I need one within about 40 miles of Petersfield, Hants to sort a dent in the roof (not even broken paintwork) caused by a fallen tree

So any ideas there too?

Re: Competent bodyshops

Think these may be rubbish pictures. Emailed them to a company who are doing some work at the moment suggesting they did it for nothing for all the inconvenience they have caused me (long and not particularly exciting story) but they refused saying that it would be about £700 to do. I had been quoted a lot less for doing it so that was garbage. So now back to square one

According to the bodyshop it is not easily accessible but I think they were just making excuses not to do it

Hi Rakesh,

If they want to come up to the Cambridge area, I know a place that has already done this job once and I use them regularly.

I don't know the cost, but can only say that they are very reasonable and won't overcharge (it will always depend on how much they will have to cut out before welding on fresh metal anyway at the end of the day). Their contact details are:

AutoWerke

01223 873 007

Speak to either Stuart or Simon.

Good luck,

Ph
