463 LWB Repacement Headlights
Hi all. Can I please have somebody confirm is it the mark 1 or mark 2 VW Golf headlights for the 463. I have a 1991 LWB.

MK 1 and MK 2 Golf headlights are the same, so it doesn't matter which you choose

The 463 headlamp assembly incorporates remote vacuum controlled manual height adjustment..only the lens part is similar but the attachment hole locations are not the same
the metal housing part is totally different ...if you do away with the remote height adjustment the complete assembly can be made to fit
the correct part is not expensive if you buy from Hella/Bosch
I agree with Fixwin, rather fit the right part. I've gone the golf route before, and ended up not fitting it due to the changes required. If you can't get the correct part it would make sence but parts are available and relatively cheap.
