Aha....I knew I had seen this before somewhere.

Questions are, does it cost squillions, is it available, does it fit a 463......over to you Sherlock smiley

Many thanks Gav.

Hi Ian

I thought you were after a solid bulkhead? Or are you planning on welding a sheet to the mesh?

This was designed to fit the 460 series and then used in the 461 so it will fit the 463 but you may have to remove or cut some of the pillar trims if you still have them in?

The part numbers for the main parts are as follows…

First Picture…

Item 5 Lower Solid Partition A460 710 01 01 £222.00 MB Germany have 2

Item 13 Bottom Angle Mounting Rail A461 710 00 19 £68.50 MB Germany have 3

Item 15 Left Side Angle Mounting Rail A461 715 03 12 £18.70 MB Germany have 1

Item 15 Right Side Angle Mounting Rail A461 715 04 12 £18.70 MB Germany have 1

Second Picture…

Item 5 Upper Mesh Partition A460 860 43 42 £583.00 MB Germany have 5 (and are keeping them?)

All prices are retail plus VAT…

I am sure you can find better ways to spend £1093.08?

The Bottom Angle mounts to the Floor with 6 bolts and the Side Angles mount to the Pillars with 4 bolts each side, the Lower Partition then mounts to these with 6 bolts to the Bottom and 4 each Side.

The Upper Partition then mounts to the Lower Partition with 4 bolts and to the Roof Pillar with 1 bolt each side.

The bolts are either M6x12mm or M6x16mm except the 2 top Roof Pillar bolts that are M8x30mm; all the Side and Top bolts are mounted through thick spacer washers.

I reckon a good fabrication shop could knock you one up for £250 max. I am sure Howard would take a good selection of photos of the design and mounting if you asked and would also take some accurate critical measurements also, I would think it could be made up in one piece if you wanted a solid one, even with a window hole if required and have the required Angles bent into it and you would just need to drill it and space it as required.

If you can get the sizes etc. from Howard then I could map them out onto a Vito bulkhead and see if it would be feasible to butcher one of those to do the job also….

Other than that maybe eBay.de could throw one up? I reckon the Lower section will be more common than the upper as they used the Lower on its own in some of the 461’s for Civvy and Military applications.

Simples….

Hope this helps you keep your Scottish Wallet full….cheeky
