HI guys need to find mechanism for operating front driver's electric window. Motor is fine but I need the rest of the mechanism. I am sure I saw an advert for this on the site but can't find it now. My G is a w463 1993 463 300 diesel. I have got a silly quote from mercedes but hope someone can help cheers Peter

OS or NS? I replaced my OS one only for the other side to pack up within days

Get the bosch part number off the motor and google it, they're fitted to lots of cars. I got some Mk1 golf ones,  if you need the whole mechanism not just the motor,   Its off to Merc

Speak to Gav. I got the part number off him and it is fitted to quite a few cars. You can actually buy the Bosch bits, but you didn't want the motor,did you?

Mech is MB or used only...

I have a man in the Emerald Isle that is swapping from elec to manual and has mech for sale...

He may want to sell as a set of 4 however, i think 1 or 2 motors have failed...

He's not net fluent but i can get you in touch if you want?

Hello 

I found that a tx1 taxi uses the same internals . The motors are the same part numbers as an early 463 but they are handed differently . I bought 1 nearside and 1 offside from central taxi spares on eBay . They were used but like new . The spiral cable is handed too and an near side taxi fits a offside wagen so with a pair you can repair both fronts. From memory they were £48 the pair including next day delivery
