work goes on
Hi Peter
You can buy the whole hinge, then you need to cut the old ones off and weld the new one on.
Regards Scott
Hi Peter
As far as I know, you cannot buy the pin alone.
There will be wear in the hinge itself any way, so replacing the pin alone is not the best solution, unless you ream the hinge out and fit an oversize pin, easier to replace the whole hinge....

Hi Simon
Yes, been there. If you can get pins, certainly would help to replace them, but if you want it like new, there's only one way..
They are welded to the door then bolted to the pillar.
Cheers Scott
You can buy the pins. And they don't fix the problem.
Early 460 / 461 Pins A460 743 05 52 £2.13 + vat each Germany have plenty of stock (List as up to 1984 ish)
Late 460 / 461 / 463 Pins A460 723 00 52 £3.21 + vat each Germany have plenty of stock (List as from 1984 ish)
Early had a little Plastic Plug in the top to remove first
Front and Rear, Top and Bottom all the same
Rear Tail Door - No Pin available
However by experience would go with the consensus that nothing but changing the hinge will usually cure it!!!
Confusing myself as to how to understand whether you have the original hinges still fitted or they have been replaced?!?
Look like they all bolt to the Body Pillar with 4 M8x25mm bolts
460 after 1989 bolt to Door with 3 M8x18mm bolts? As do the 463's?
Are the early 460 ones Welded to the Door?
Looks to be 3 main hinge types? Stand corrected here!!! They all look similar i guess...
460 Early - 1979-1984? - Welded - Early Pin
460 Mid - 1984-1989? - Welded - Late Pin
460 Late - 1989 On - Bolted - Late Pin (463 type)

I did get an engineer to make a new pin and rebush the housing of the hinge, cost £10 I think, but didn't work well on the back door as all moved around too much. Still have it if anyone wants it.....
Tried new pins doesn't work as hinge has play.
Luckily all mine bolted on, don't forget you have to have them painted as well.....
