What's your perception of the G ?
It looks like Brabus, LED Christmas-tree look is in favour these days, but it seems far from its origins
Yes too true
But it would still go off road better than any school run jobs
It might loose some plastic bits , in fact a lot but it would make the trip lol
I would like the new style bumper without the fairy lights but it would only last a week or so with my adventures. If that
I'm not a fan of all of the bolt on gadgets on the Brabus. The hood scoop looks completely out of place to me. If it were stamped as one piece it may look tough, but it looks like a cheap aftermarket two-faced tape addition in its current form.
I much prefer the white design and would be interest to know the size of rims and tyres that have been fitted as I would like to reproduce the look.
Does anyone know or able to guess the size?
either 16" or 18" but most likely 18"
Could you hazard a guess at the tyre size, i think they are bigger than 265/65/R18?
I managed to do a image search and found the 2017 G-Class Professional brochure which details 265/70/R16 as standard on the Wagon model and 265/75/R16 on the Cab Chassis.

Thanks Arnie, however I'm going to fit a set of 18 inch RM9 painted satin black that I got for a good price.
I believe the Professional has a 4" lift which obviously allows the larger tyre.
Would you know what is the largest size of tyre I could fit to a 18 inch wheel?
I believe Merc currently fit 265/65/R18's to the G350D and was wondering to I could fit a 265/70/R18 tyre.
do a search on this website, the subject was discussed in detail; it is not so much the size of the tyre but whether the ABS system will play up; the settings can be adjusted for different tyre sizes but it is not for the amateur; the Hutchinson wheels look nice but are heavy, it does not help with the quality of the ride.
Yes, that is correct: 265/75/R16
You don't need to worry about kerbing your alloys with those as the tyre profile is higher than most pavement kerb-stones.
There's also an option of two-part bolted alloys, as used by the US military, which also look rather good, if expensive:
