What's the lowdown?

So it looks like I've sold my S500 on ebay (although things on there can often go wrong at the last minute) and no doubt will soon be looking around for a replacement and stable mate for my G300.

Something like a G5.5 would do the trick as far as performance and creature comforts are concerned but it would have to be a long term holder and getting in and out doesn't get any easier as the years roll by.

How about the idea of lowering it by 2 or 3 inches? What would be needed, what effect would it have on the driving/handling? How much would it cost to do properly?

Don't need to worry about going off road - I'd still have the G300 for that.

i think it would be a lot easier and cheaper to fit a set of these for your old age !!

The thumping sound system obviously goes without saying.devil

I did contact the AMP people but unfortunately they don't make those steps for a G Wagon.
