More (probably) stupid questions from me.

Pictures 1 shows a small "tab" on the window fame. What's that all about

Picture 2 shows smallish "hole" on the rear bumper - there is one each side of the number plate. What are these for? Can they be used for something useful - maybe like a reversing aid or camera (never that easy to see just how far I am from running over a parked car when parallel parking.

Picture 1 is the window guide (or rattle damper for me). It guides that long run of the front of the window - as its being wound-up (which is otherwise unsupported), buck into the window channel.

Picture 2 - not the foggiest...

The small hole in the rear bumper looks like it may have been for parking sensors. There should then be two holes in the main bummer centre section and two additional holes in the corner pieces of the bumper. Perhaps someone has replaced he bumper at some point with one from a vehicle that had sensors?

Re: What are these

Well, the should be a small tab to prevent the glass moving out too far  when the window is partly open, round about that same position, but the factory-fitted tab is smaller and has a black plastic covering.

i don't think so the wind deflectors on the front windows i have fitted and all the others i

have seen on 460 /461 / 463 have a lip( full length ) on the wind deflector that slides in between

the rubber guide chanel and the metal frame of the door and you have to remove this tab to fit

but on the 460 this tab is sprung steel which you attach the black plastic block to
