use of a highlift

hello
I allways used a hi lift jack for wheel changes on my other 4x4s can i use one on my G ?
I notice the USMC are issued with one with there G wagons.
yes, I know it wobbley but if you think what you are doing and dont lift the wheel 2 foot off the deck I have had no problems with other 4x4s.
what do you all think ?

use of a highlift

I don't see a problem if your G is a 460 series and use your your bumpers as jacking points. The rear bumper of a 463 series is not to be used, though (it's made of fiberglass)
