Tyre Valves
I went to get my winter tyres fitted today...and asked the garage to change the 'bolt-in' tyre valve for a rubber one to match the other wheels, as my air-line wouldnt inflate the tyre... after they removed the valve (destroying it) .... it became apparent that MB fits an unusually large flange valves to the 460 in standard fit alloys... unfortunately my garage dont stock the valve as they are so rare... had to leave in the G with 3 winter tyres on and an AT spare... until they get the special tyre valve in after the weekend ...
is this a problem anyone else has encountered?
I normally get my valves beforehand from a Truck parts supplier.
I have them if you cant get them, most tyre companies should have them.
