With the kids getting bigger by the day, I think its time to find a lwb G.... and sell the swb G

I have had a look on mobile and there is a lot of 350s... are they any good??? better than the 300???i am after a diesel 90s car.

This one caught my eye;

I guess you are referring to the old, 350 turbo-diesel, rather than the 350 CDi?

If the latter, no comparison to G300D, but if you are referring to the G350TD, then there are pros and cons:

Its more powerful that the non-turbo 300, which will help with larger LWB body, but it's a more stressed engine:

If you don't mind LHD, then I'd look for a 270CDi

No problems with that one. More powerful and more economical. Interior is also updated based on c-class. Usually full of extras like electric memory seats and sometimes COMAND navigation. From 2002, they all have ESP (stability control) with  EBV, 4ETS, BAS etc.

Although, be aware that as with all CDi engines, there are more electronics involved, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
