looking for details of a supplier who can provide new/refurbished electrical buzz bar which links the alternator with engine starting.... for a 300D 1991 463.  Contact details, location etc would be appreciated along with part number details/diagrams.

Hi there.

I didn't really know what this could be the first time you asked, and looked it up again now.  It looks like a busbar is basically just a big short high ampage electric cable strap??  I found the attached in the Members Area under repair manuals - you have access.

G1 is the Alternator and X5/5 or X5/4 are those connectors.  Maybe someone else can get the MB Part number for it, but it looks like 10mm2 cable with crimped ends on?  You could probably fettle one.
