Sold today at The Imperial War Museum Duxford Auction
I thought this G would make more than the £6600 selling bid.
Can you post the link?
Might be a good place to buy, then.
Probably not well advertised - i never knew about these auctions before.
Both look quite clean (at least on the surface), if high mileage.More than a bargain for the price.
maybe we'll see the new owners on here shortly?
Also sold recently at auction:

Must depend somewhat on how well publicised and how well attended the auctions are.
some time ago there were some nice Japanese imports that were sold relatively cheaply by general car dealers who probably got the Gs as part of a job-lot.
i guess if you are in the right place at the right time, you can get a bargain.
Red looks very bright, has it seen paint.?
well, you also don't know what this professional respray is hiding, if anything. Such a respray would be almost half the sale price.
Sorry Arnie, I thought it would load as an attachment!
