Hi Guys....

The rubber body moulding that run along the G seems to have come adrift, is there a product that you can recommend to re-stick them?

Thanks

Freddie

Re: Rubber Body Mouldings

On the W460, the rubber moldings are screwed on. The molding has holes along its length.

On the W463, the moldings are stuck on with double-sided, automotive adhesive tape. You need to ensure that both surfaces are super-clean and grease-free and use a very good quality VHB tape from the likes of 3M. (VHB = Very High Bond). Clean-off any residue of old tape first, using isopropyly alcohol or petrol/gasoline

(Interestingly, some W463 still have the holes in the metal panels for the screw-on moldings.)
