Calling all G-wagon Owners........ June 28th, or 5th July??

We have a really nice Pizzeria in Hoddesdon-Herts called 'Nonnas's Kitchen', I believe theres one off Leicester square as well if you all want to meet there.....

Anyone?

p.s they do some badass 'Gelato's in the Bun (ice cream in sweet buns).

Re: Pizza meet?

Always quite fancied visiting there. But how crowded does it get on a weekend?

June 28th already planned for a Sussex meet (I think).

hiya,

been there a few times and never get bored of it!

its not that bad, there's a nice size car park, cafe-restaurant etc, almost looks like a hotel when you get inside.

I don't mind looking at other dates that suit others

cheers

Re: Pizza meet?

Well you'll definitely need a good sized car park so you can show off your G to prospective purchasers to best effect.

I must not buy a LHD.

Ha ha, I personally think the older range rover classics are the original /best made out the bunch.

its bullet proof, 4.2 version was the most reliable out the lot! Further more mine is an 'overfinch' 460i version based on the 4.2  LSE models.

Re: Pizza meet?

Oh ! looky looky here. Do I see the opportunity to start a "Range Rover" vs "G" discussion ? "Overfinch" vs "Brabus" chat ?

Re: Pizza meet?

No no, I can't be bothered with all that nonsense mate.

i will only say they are two different cars. The G's really sophisticated and really the Ranger is    Very racy for its time spec wise.....bored out V8 is the ticket.

Re: Pizza meet?

Hi Russ,

no it's an early 93', hard dash-original version. Plenty of wood leather, LWB version extra 8" version. Sure you know about them.

funny there's a soft dash 5.7 overfinch for sale at Avantgarde cars. Yes £50k for a 94'......ouch!

50k is a little bit trumpy !!!

I think the one at AG is the original one! Completely blue printed engine - a very rare beast indeed. Overfinch's since 2010, after they went in to receivership and were brought out, now only do interior luxury and plastic bits, with an engine re-map to up the power.

Still, a nice motor.

Re: Pizza meet?

You are correct Spider ! the Overfinch of today (which you see many of and even applied to the imposters (sports) is not the Overfinch which we all know and love.

BUT today a simple 5.0sc Autobiography does me !

Re: Pizza meet?

That's the one I like as well.

You know there was the 580s version which apparently was heavily modified under the bonnet.

But true after the company went bust its just a badge and wheels/bodykit now.

Heres a rare beast 630r, very low key looks....400bhp Wow

Re: Pizza meet?

Just my twopence worth, I had a classic RR V8 and absolutely loved it, so much so I then went out and brought a 3 year old P38, my god what a pile of s###, I have never had so many problems with a car, ( yes even my G!! ) every week something would go wrong, I would not have a P38 if you paid me! It put me off RRs for life. Anyway back to the original question is anyone going to the pizza meet? I can do July 5th but not June 28th.
