Dear All,

Would anyone know how to check online if the part number below is still available, my local Merc dealer seems not to be able to find it

Part Number: A 201 810 00 49 7101 in grey.

Regards

Freddie

Re: Part Availability

To assist, it would be helpful if we knew what it is supposed to be.

Re: Part Availability

I guess the number wither shows up or it doesn't.  Knowing what it is allows us to check what the actual part number might be.

If its 'in grey' I am guessing its a piece of interior trim. £1 says its a door handle or something??

Sun visor clip?

Trouble is that MB do quite often change their parts numbers so a description of what it is and for what vehicle is needed to be sure.

Re: Part Availability

Hi All,

The part is a cargo net for the back of the front seats.

Ah ha.  The plot thickens.  I can't think of a G which had those nets on the back of the seats.  The 460 had nothing and the 463 has a sprung flap.  Maybe someone here has a piture or knows otherwise (I've only owned 3 Gs).

Re: Part Availability
On my 460 I have squeezed in seats from a (dead) Audi 80 languishing in a fire-station before the car itself was cut up for practice, and very good they are. The seats came with cargo nets on the back. Perhaps you could source some pre-owned ones?

The early 463 models had nets for rear seat storage. They are suposed to be tight against the rear of the front seat but over time they sag and can then get snagged and ripped.

My 1994 W463 has nets like that.  Baggy, but not quite that bad.

Re: Part Availability

Part number A201****** is a giveaway 190E. My 190e has nets on the backs of the front seats and........... my 1988 230GE also has nets and they look original. Lots of 190's being broken so the nets may be out there somewhere.
