Just following the 400 chat and saw this pop up on eBay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-G-Wagon/151586313576?_trksid=p2047675... Longest link in the world.. but I suspect you only need the first bit of it as I did a bit of 'follow my leader' from one of the 55o adverts. Looks very clean - especially the engine bay - Which is either really good new... or too goo to be true. Might be a great base for a 606/603 engine swap? Ta Simon

Re: Original 463?

As Roly said, has been recently owned by a member and last time  saw it, look in very good condition. From Memory she has done some work on it when she first got it? I also know she come on here from time to time, but can't remember her Forum Name.

Re: Original 463?

Hi Simon and other members.....

It is my Gee!   Unfortunately it is up for sale.  Its a tidy clean and original example.   The engine is very clean.  One of the best that I saw when I was buying it and I saw quite a few.  Its not been messed with at all.

I'm buying a place in France this year, so may need a LWB left hooker, so it seems a shame for it to be sitting around, I'd rather someone else enjoy it as much as I have.

I will still be around at the AGM's and other meets, cant get rid of me that easily.

Em

Re: Original 463?

Hi Em It's a credit to you. Why not swap it for a left hand G. Given the relative number on the market you'd be able to get more for your money. Small world. You first spotted me on the M6 I recollect, now I see your G. It's going to be a great buy for someone :-) Enjoy France! Simon

Hi Em,

Simon has a point there, would be rather chic in the French countryside, and practical as well! Nice to see you on the forum as well! Just some proof that it keep good company....laugh

Re: Original 463?
Hi Spider In fairness to Em and on re-reading her post, I one realise I 'leapt' to the assumption she was talking about a LandRover. Must have been the LWB ref. Perhaps her cunning plan is to max the return on her RHD SWB, and then do a great cash deal on a lefthook G. With the Euro at the mo she is going to get an even better return.. If it was me I'd get a Professional! Simon
