om606 n/a now with turbo

Here are some pics of my OM606 n/a, now with a turbo fitted.

The turbo is a new Garrett T25, as specified for a Musso OM662.   I purchased the factory OM606a exhaust manifold and a friend made up the "kit" including the oil feed, oil return and some pipework.
The air filter boix needed rotating so the outlet faced down.  Runs 9psi and after dyno-tuning gets approx 30% gains over non-turbo.  Also new 2.5" exhaust fitted.  Not intercooled.  Still needs a fan shroud.
I am very happy with it.

well done grazza! i thought we sort  of agreed 5 psi ish of boost , but if you have 9 psi and all is well then great.

  it is funny to see the engine i fixed to a pallet so long ago and put on a lorry to go all the way to palmy in rockhampton.

  ref. your need for a radiator shroud for the 60x engines in a G /please order this shroud    A 460 505 10 55 this will cure the problem / fit a good quality or o/e behr type visco coupling for the fan drive at the same time .
