Hi All
Picking up my 1988 230 GE tomorrow.
I'v taken the plunge and have everything crossed that all will be ok.
I've got 4lt Wrangler for everyday running around and Rav 4 NRG for longer journeys (16mpg is only so much fun on a long drive ;-) )
,so the G is more for fun and lugging stuff about.
Hope to get it offroad asap, so there will be loads of 'what does does this sound/vibration mean' questions (please be patient !).
Have to say, nowhere near enough info in the UK on G's.
Keep up the good work all, as without this forum i'd have had serious doubts about buying such an old vehicle with the best part of 100,000 miles on the clock.

Welcome to the forum Paul. Have you joined the club too, also a great sourse of personal help too.
Dont worry too much about the G should be plenty of life left in it yet. If you are anything like us you will spend more time playing and tinkering with it because you want to more than need too. But we are all here to help what evr the reason
