New member saying hello
Hi All,
Just decided to join in order to gain the benefit of the experience available.
I have been toying with the idea of an oldish / cheapish G wagon for some time but as yet have not really started looking. I am based in Ireland so there are not a whole lot to look at and the few I have seen on line are very tatty.
My main use would be the odd weekend spin, pulling a Westfield kit car to a few show events and an occasional trip to the recycling center, probably no more than 4-5K miles annually.
My mechanical ability is zero but that doesn't stop me from starting and trying and then failing and going to the professionals, mild humiliation has long ceased to be of any concern.
Did spot one this morning presumably falling under the "to good to be true" heading on Pistonheads based in Cambridge, might pop the details on another thread.
Looking forward to getting to know the GWOA world and its members.

If its "Mint" or "As New" and under 10k forget even reading any further...!
If it's "Road Worthy with MOT" and less than £3k or "Needs No Work" and less than £6k forget it again..
These will either be a scam (usual) or the seller is deluded and does not know anything about G's..
If it's the Silver one at £4k on PH then for sure its a scam.
Watch out for the same G listed under different sites for different prices
Say £13k on one and £6k on another, the £13k will be a genuine add and the £6k a cloned scam with the reg blanked out..

Welcome to the club but the disappointing news is there is no cheapish G-Wagen about unless it is a total non runner or corroded example.
