My wife and I are pleased to join the forum.
Recently with retirement and the possibility of more expendable time, we have considered purchasing a G Wagon. We have actually already come across one for sale at the upcoming silverstone auction. As well as another being advertised by a dealer.
We hope to have your valuable insight with our purchase and endeavour to return as much as we can over the course of ownership.

That to me looks like a nice truck !
It is not a factory standard issued model as it was sent to AMG Japan for mods and styling.
Not sure what level of engine mods were carried out, if any ? But it's nicely styled and being from Japan likely to be rust free.
Some of the guys are already talking about this truck in another thread.

The ex-Japan vehicles tend to be in better condition because of their climate than what one would normally find in northern Europe. So, a good place to start.
