Happy New Year !
To all G owners and fans.
As we keep GWOA alive, as the oldest Owners Group for G-Wagen, we look to 2026 as a year of renewal.
The membership is somewhat broken, as is PayPal to collect annual memberships (so it is being handled manually). The ability to update the site is becoming harder and harder, and the hosting costs increase, with no support for the legacy platform.
The Forum of member Q&A and technical guidance has been invaluable, but gets accessed less and less and other sources of direct information replace it (just try AI, which draws on this data and many other sources). We are therefore free and obliged to replace this old format website with something better, maintaining a membership, membership benefits, ability to interact as a community of G loving owners and somewhere to promote/host events and information. We will keep access to the forum on a proxy basis for a while until archived.
GWOA will also embrace newer owners. Post 2019 463A and even the G580 are segments un-supported in other groups. Merchandise and value-add (beyond insurance certification and product discounts) is also a goal to balance member funds.
So watch this space (still) as it takes time, but definitely coming.

Hopefully we can keep the forum going and making it stronger as time goes by.
I will be trying my best to get everyone together hopefully this month for a drink/gathering possibly around Junction 21A on M25 areas.

This website and forum are provided for the benefit of enthusiasts and owners of all Mercedes Benz off road vehicles, in particular the G Wagen. The costs of development, upkeep and provision of the site are met entirely by the annual subscriptions of club members. If you are using the site and are not a member of the G Wagen Owners Association please consider joining. You will have access to areas on the site that are not open to non members, to club trips and meetings and to technical assistance. In addition your contribution (only £25 annually) will help us maintain and develop our website for future users.
