I am looking for some help regarding my GD300 that I have recently acquired. I've got oil coming up the speedo cable and into the car.Its clean oil so I'm guessing its from the gear box? Is there a breather? Where is it located? How do I cure it?

Speedo is driven from the transfer box. I would first check the oil levels at the level plug. Someone like me may have oiled the speedo cable to stop the speedo twitching. I think it is sealed so unlikely to be coming from the box.. but there is a seal on the shaft. All the gearbox breather tubes should collect together between the bulkhead and engine block.. mounted as 2 U tubes in steel with plastic lines feeding them from the gearboxes.
