Garage around east mids… 2004 g500 starting then dies
Hi guys 2004 g500 lwb lhd had an issue with key so had that reprogrammed so now key turns in lock, good start, then changed springs as previous idiot decided to cut them in half so was bouncing like a mattress in the red light district. HOWEVER NOW runs for a few seconds then dies.
I'm after a garage/ specialist around east mids to look over this issue in particular plus a general check over as newly acquired vehicle.
Any help appreciated.

wth. How does a spring get cut down, without the G sinking lower!

theres 2x merc specialists near me in hertfordshire that could help I can sling you the info if you want??
1. A 2004 new dash v8 petrol dies after how many seconds?
2. Have you checked the fuel pump in engine bay and under the chassis area ?
3. G400 2001-05 had a similar issue you know was due to cheap ecu chips they bunged in early g's.... it could be the solder points inside the ecu not letting you advance because when the heat up it switches ecu off into fail safe mode maybe
4. Have you had a Star Diagnostic on it?
