G500 spotted for sale
Worth a look if you are happy with LHD

So many of these Japanese imports sit on the market for months and months unsold. Its also a worry that its being marketed and sold as a G55 when it clearly isnt.
It seems strange that the seller is making very strong claims that it is a 'genuine' G55, which is not possible if it is a 2000 registered vehicle. As far as I know the normally aspirated G55 was only introduced in 2002.
As far as I know the Japanese drive on the left side. This car is for right side driving. Probably a German car??
LHD cars are a status symbol there. If you look at the Japanese auctions, 95% of the mercs are LHD. My own G500 came from japan and was left hand drive. This car is 100% a Jap import (stickers, wind deflectors, misbadged, the Nav unit, the mats).
to my knowledge, the G55 was officially marketed from 2001 onwards but special orders were built from 1999 and these early cars were registered as G55s.
Looks like a fair price if its a supercharged 55. Does anyone know this seller/importer?
supercharged G55 were offered from 2004 onwards.
