A lot of money for a 460 but would welcome comments from those that know as to whether this is worth the money.

And 2 youtube bits for the same vehicle

That looks suspiciously like Simeon's, a fellow GWOA member?

Only converted towards the end of last year

Re: G460 with 606 conversion for sale

I have to be honest, and i have spoken with the seller a few times before, a real nice guy...

However i am either miles out of touch or just a tight Yorkshireman but even with the usable engine conversion i still just cant see any 460 SWB being with that kind of £ even in factory original show condition?

Solid looking truck in good order, far north of £11k and you have lost me.....

1989 OM606 converted 460 SWB 300GD = £19,500

1999 M113 factory 463 LWB G500 = £22,000

I just don't see the value in it.....sorry Simeon if you're reading!

I'm guessing that was a LHD though? Not something everybody wants.

Re: G460 with 606 conversion for sale

A ground-up restoration incl rebuilt engine/ gearbox costs more than £20k;  unrestored LHD 280 GE Convertibles in a fair condition sell for £20k;  a 280 GE Convertibles in showroom condition would sell for well more than £20k;  which one has more appeal:  the Convertible or a G63?

Understand that Adrian, one owner from new, LWB in superb condition... with many usable upgrades and extras...

That YOU have installed and tweaked...

But to but an unknown quantity with a recent install...? That's another thing all together!!

Hus .. Cabrio's are by default in another league anyway.... due to their rarity...
