Front hubs w460
Hi
I was into Landys for years and it was a done thing to us one shot grease in the hubs has anyone used this in there G??
Yes, the grease has to be topped up every two years as per servicing schedule. with the front of the vehicle in axle stands, wheel off, say you start at the o/s, turn the wheel hub to a full left hand lock. At the back of the hub or rear side of hub there will be either a hexaganal nut or an Allen key headed nut, remove this and feed the grease gun's flexi hose well into the swivel and pump away untill the grease reached the levl of the nut removed. CAUTION: DO NOT put your finger in the hole and turn the wheel hub, you won't have a finger left on your hand!
From total empty it takes 200 strokes of the grease gun. Use Chassis grease.
