Greetings, I am starting to gather prices and sources for complete or parts of an exhaust system, does anyone know of the better places to buy them from? I don't want to have one made up and prefer either oem or a good replica. The usual UK sources don't seem to list any LHD options - fair enough - one of the downsides to buying a LHD. G is a LWB LHD 320 CDI. Any guidance is much appreciated. Cheers.

Does the original exhaust on your G require replacing already? What year is yours?

Any vehicle built after sept 2001  requires a factory approved cat, homogolated is the word used I think. And probably you have a diesel particle filter too. The risk with going to non MB products is that the steel may be cheap and rust. Mind you the MB system doesn't seem to have lasted very long.

I can't think that there is any difference in the exhaust between LHD and RHD but who knows.

I know that you said that you didn't want to get one made but I have just used Stainless Exhaust near Manfield to build a system for my G and it is excellent. Life time guarantee for a lot less than MB prices

Hi, it's late 2007, it's okay at the moment but, I am thinking that the back lateral box is starting to resonate a bit - so I'm just gathering knowledge before it needs one and I'm forced to buy from MB. Thanks for your input. TC

Eberspacher is the OEM .

Look them up. They also sell aftermarket.
