Dim dip resistor
My 1987 300GD has got dim/dip functionality on the headlights, as did most everything else in the UK for a period after 1987.
Question is, where is the resistor? I cant see any reference to it in the circuit diagram in the owners manual or in the W460 wiring diagrams I have.

Well I didn't find the resistor yet, but I did find the relay/controller.
It's up above the passenger side front speaker, behind the dash.
Unplugging it removed the dim/dip function, so dipped beam is no longer on at a reduced brightness when the side lights are on and ignition switched on.
