It's amazing what Rims can do to a 'G', I remember when there weren't so much choice of wheels available some years back, now theres a whole load of them.

I reckon if you put the DRL lights on the Headlamp covers it will look ssssiiicccckkk!
And put the later rear lights LED version. (Just a suggestion).

yeah thats true,i went 100 mile journey to see gordon of G restorations near blackpool,drove a treat all motorway aswell,i was thinking with the 22*s on it would find all the pot holes and make the steering wander a bit..but not at all and a lot less noisy than the all terrain tyres..it never missed a beat,heater like a wood burnin stove,big cumfy lazy boy seats,and i aint going to get emotional on the petrol consumption either..surprisedon all the attention they get,few videos being took by passers by..and i think you may be right about the DRLs..
Very tidy G!!! Heres what we found in your swivels Trevor .... Nothing major just two new top bearings, swivel seals and a couple of gaskets.

thanks gordon,thats good news..you been very helpful,an the G OF YOURS AN THE REBUILDS LOOKING AMAZING,any repairs needed to my g i wouldnt hesitate to get on the motorway an head to yours..me,me pal an kids had the day in blackpool..ended up in a pink carriage up the mile..(anythin for the kids)..ha
I must say that does look rather nice!
Always wondered about the rear spoiler, but looks discreet and sets of the end of the G. On top of the LED's that were mentioned above, a nice centre lit Mercedes badge would set it off....

thanks for the comment spider,yeah i chose the narrow one with the turned up edge which i think follows the line of the roof nice...OCD so things got to be level an stuff,or my head goes in a spin an the grinder would be out ha ha
Congrats looks a nice and tidy G .... but the wheeeelllssss Aaarggghhhhhh aint doing anything to me ... ;-)

cheers mate,i thought wouldnt be everyones taste an honestly if it drove like a ford cortina they would be coming off,an im in the frame of mind alloys should be silver...but with the colour of the G..i am quite happy
