The one that is linked to the rear door being open works, the rest don't.   Is there a fuse that I should be hunting down and changing?

More likely the passenger door switch itself, or a bad earth on the light ?

I have the same on my old 460, and the light will turn on manually, so its probably the door switch itself.  I just haven't bothered to un-screw it and clean it up.  Take a picture if you check yours first.

Is it just drivers door that doesn't operate the lights? Passenger door , ?

If you do remove the switch be careful  as I remember there is a terminal you can ground out accidentally thus blowing the fuse,

What had actually happened once the dealer had a look was the little aerial on the roof had leaked (rubber had weathered) and water had entered very gradually, eventually causing the overhead light unit to fail - there is a circuit board in there which presumably doesn't like being damp.    So that unit and the aerial one were both replaced by MB Ipswich.   First class service from a first class dealer!

Credit where credit deserved.

That leak point turns out to be as common as 460 wiper spindles!  It doesn't come through the roof lining so not detected until too late.  I also have a little stubby aerial and thinking its time to renew it.
