2007 SWB CDI 7 G Tronic,
Hi any ideas! I have a snatching in the transmission 7G Tronic Auto, just started? is this the Torque converter, or the Transfer case, (maybe both) the noise in there only on low revs "when pulling"

This is a common fault in the 722.9 7G-Tronic MB gearboxes that affects various models not just the G Wagon, once they have exceeded 50,000 miles.
The problem seems to be cured only by the replacement of the auto box valve body. MB were doing this under warranty and may give you a contribution if your vehicle is out of warranty.
Obviously you might want to try having any fault codes checked and replacing the transmission fluid and filter etc first.
If you go onto the MB forums and search you will find plenty of info about the problem.
