Out now for 4 months or so now I was told.. Unimog U20.
http://www.unimog-trucks.eu/webspecial_u20/new-small-unimog/index.html

Seems to be far more local council biased machine based on standard truck. Axles are portal but there are no torque tubes for the propshafts so don't ask what happens in long grass  . The live axles are also located by simple drag link system where the front link is located by a bracket that is level with the bottom of the axle .. so not exactly great ground clearance .. more of a flat lorry underneath with the portal axles lifting it above the ground.

Only found out about it after going to Unimog museum (http://www.unimog-museum.com/ ); required view for mog nuts but not that big. They had a snow clearing display on so I could try to decide which excuse I could find for getting a 406 for...
